The Role

As an Operations Analyst on the Global Payments & Risk team, you will be an integral part of refining and optimizing the Global Payments business at SurveyMonkey.  We believe that Payments is a business driver. You will work on projects to enhance processing efficiencies, tackle fraud, launch new payment capabilities, and enhance payments related customer experiences.

What You’ll Do

  • Discover new opportunities to grow and optimize the Global Payments business through analytics, financial modeling, and business case development
  • Work cross functionally to execute against our Global Payments goals – focusing on authorization success, acceptance, renewals, recycling and payments costs
  • Define, track, monitor, analyze, and be responsible for payments related metrics
  • Identify areas of risk and compliance and develop plans to communicate/mitigate those risks
  • Monitor performance of key payments-related initiatives and develop recommendations to further optimize them


What You’ll Need

  • 3+ years of experience in SaaS, Finance, or FinTech industry (with emphasis on using data to facilitate business decision)
  • Extensive experience in efficient manipulation and analysis of large data sets
  • Advanced Excel skills 
  • Experience with SQL and/or Tableau (not required but a major plus)
  • Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to think strategically through end-to-end solutions while solving for user experience and business impact
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Finance, MIS, or other relevant discipline
