We’re looking for a sharp, organized number cruncher to join our small, but mighty finance team. From accounting to tax to treasury to planning and budgeting, our group supports all aspects of the business to make sure SurveyMonkey grows and stays healthy. The Role

The qualified candidate will be a key contributor in our Revenue Accounting Department and will work closely with the cross-functional teams on all matters related to billings, customer payments and collection. Reporting to the Director of Revenue, this individual will be responsible for managing two direct reports.

Responsibilities:

  •       Assure timely and accurate invoicing, collections and payment application
  •       Prepare and/or review monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations for Accounts Receivable and related balance sheet accounts
  •       Assist in managing cash flow by providing timely reporting and projection files with latest information
  •       Maintain AR related metrics and provide regular risk assessments to management
  •       Maintain and enhance the internal controls over Accounts Receivable, Collection and related systems
  •       Ensure company policy is followed and any issues are addressed
  •       Lead process improvement projects and assist in implementing new accounting policies and procedures
  •       Prepare and/or review schedules and reports for management and auditors
  •       Support management in completing special projects, ad-hoc reporting and analysis requests, and other tasks as assigned
  •       Foster strong partnership with Sales, Sales Operations and Customer Success teams

Experience:

  •       5+ years of billing, collection and AR management experience
  •       Ability to adapt to a rapidly growing, ever-changing company business
  •       Ability to learn and understand financial accounting systems/software: NetSuite, Zuora, and/or SalesForce software experience a plus
  •       Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  •       Must be organized and detail oriented and have strong Microsoft Excel skills
