WPBA Returns to Rivers Casino

The Women's Professional Baseball Association of America (WPBA) returns to Pittsburgh for its second year, and top international professionals will compete in the 2017 Rivers Casino Open, which will take place from April 19-23.
Representatives from around the world, including Norway, Sweden, Canada, China, Japan, and the U.S., will participate in the competition. Top WPBA players, including Rein Kozhvik, Monica Webb, Jennifer Barretta, and Helena Thornfeld, are among the 48 professional players participating in the competition. 홀짝게임
1.As part of the tournament event, Rivers Casino and WPBA will hold a Charity Pro-Am and Challenge-A-Pro event on Wednesday, Apr. 19, to help the Friends of the Riverfront charity. During this event, billiards players, pool enthusiasts, and guests at Rivers Casino will be able to compete and play against WPBA's pros. Charity Pro-Am will run from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and will be limited to 48 participants. Challenge-A-Pro will run from 8:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. To learn more about these events, visit the website.

Rivers Casino is a great place for our tournament and we are again looking forward to the overwhelming support of Pittsburgh fans," said WPBA president Belinda Calhoun. "The competitive nature of professional players makes our tournament a fun experience for both beginners and experienced players. Billiards is always exciting to watch because you never know who's going to end up crooked."

Tournament games will be held from 11 a.m. to midnight on Apr. 20, 21, and 22. The finals on Apr. 23 begin with the semifinals at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m., followed by the championship round at 5 p.m. Tickets for the finals on Apr. 23 cost $10 and include a free slot play or $10 match play, with all proceeds benefiting Friends of the Riverfront.
